This post is for anybody who has anything to say about any zines–I’m oddly mostly interested in what you have to say about MY zines (lolololol) but I will still pay attention and love any discussion about other zines as well.
If you have something to say, start us off in comments!!!!

omg omg omg!!!
am opening mine right now… it’s so beautiful! as you know, i live in michigan (west side, creepy) so the theme of your zine definitely hits home with me! ooh, we have gorgeous sun today, warmth… it’s awesome. ok, so i LOVE the strawberry story… because strawberries are a sacred fruit to NDNs – a different story from yours but similar ideal ultimately. i adore the quotes you chose and how you wove literature/poetry and buddhist belief thru. and Zevi’s story… oh, that makes me ache… it’s all so wonderful.

“Do you have the patience to wait until your mud settle and the water is clear? Can you remain unmoving until the right action arises by itself?”
After reading that quote in your zine, I found a translation of Tao Te Ching by Ursula K. Le Guin, of all people, and I’m determined to spend my warm, sunny weekend reading this book. Thank you for the right quote at the right time.

Man, I am so “muddy” so much of the time.
That’s a really great one I just heard recently from elsewhere, too.
Not ready to pick up the original source material, yet, but working on trying to practice that as much as I can for now. Thanks BFP (and random-person-in-the-world-who-recently-echoed-it).

Saw mine in the mail yesterday, so lovely, thank you very much for making it. I was also taken aback by the quote, “Do you have the patience to wait until your mud settles and the water is clear? Can you remain unmoving until the right action arises by itself?” Of course, my answer is no, I’m much too scared, but how do I get there? I’m practicing…
Baby Suggs’ discussion of her desire for yellow. “I likes yellow.” Yeah. Just quiet all this down and focus on something simple, but brilliant, and see what right action arises by itself. A feat of attention.
Meditative. Intentional. Brave. These are stances I’ve been working so painfully hard to reflect for the past couple of years, but it always feels so awkward to put words to it. You’ve captured it beautifully. Thank you so much for putting it together.
