just got this question over at the anonymous question place–does anybody have any suggestions??
Do you know of any acupuncture/alternative healing places in Ann Arbor/Ypsi that are good? I saw a couple of your posts about the community acupuncturist in Detroit, but I can’t make it downtown that often

I can’t speak personally (and the one person I do know who gets acupuncture regularly is not available at the moment), however if you look through Natural Awakenings magazine, you will find ads that might be able to better direct you to what you need. I know ads aren’t the best source, but it’s a place to start.

Hi bfp~
I used to live in that area, and have a lot of contacts there still…with your permission, I can post a question for references on facebook and see if anything turns up. Email me at the address attached to my comment if that is OK with you. I might have some friends who get acupuncture there still.

Just wanna thank you for posting my question & everyone else for being willing to help me out! I actually just lucked out& met a really cool qwoc therapist who’s helping me find woc-friendly alt.therapies in the area. If I find anything good I’ll post it here in case anyone else needs the info
Thanks again for your help, everyone!

Hi BFP,
I was reading your Q&As (very neat!) and saw that you have “old Mexican music” in rotation on your player. If your idea of “old” is the same idea of “old” as this radio host, I think you might like his Saturday 11-1 (CST) show. http://www.kfai.org/sabadosaegres (Or at least his playlist archives if you can’t tune in.)
