The first zine hand made by brownfemipower, the editorista of the blog, Flip Flopping Joy. Featuring continued commentary in the manner of (re)thinking walking, this zine grapples with brownfemipower’s place as a survivor, Latina, Chicana, immigrant, sexual, organizing, moving mami.
Cost: Baseline=$1.00 plus $1.00 for shipping U.S. 2$ for shipping outside of the U.S.! If you feel it is worth more, please consider paying more! All collected monies will go towards maintaining this website (webhosting services) and the creation of future zines!
Delivery Info: I will be sending out zines every Monday and Thursday. Latest order times for each date will be 8 PM EST the previous day. So, if you order your zine on Sunday at 7:35 PM EST, your zine will go in the mail Monday.
If you order your zine any time on Monday, however, it will be put in the mail on the very next Thursday.
I am doing it this way so that my helper can help me make sure I have all the organizational paper work-y type stuff (for example: correct addresses, etc) taken care of properly.

hahaha–i’m actually scared shitless–i hope that you all aren’t disappointed…i’m actually thinking of opening an open thread once i send out the first batch–i’m really excited to get some critical feedback (especially on presentation–that’s the part i really struggled with!!!)–i really enjoyed making the zine even though it took for fucking ever–and I’d like to do it again, but I want to be able to improve with each zine I make, you know? But it’s hard for me to look really critically at this zine–because the process of making a zine is soooo new to me, i don’t have any idea what i’m doing wrong or right etc!!!!
So–yeah, i’m gonna do it–once i get the first batch of zines out, i’ll get a post set up for critical feedback! And maybe all of us newbie zinesters can work together to get “first timer mistakes” out there and how we solved them!!! :p

I am getting really sick, no pissed off totally, with all this online reading even though I contribute my fair share of cyber – I want to use the word drivel but that insults me as well as a lot of people who write good stuff – so lets just say content. So this is very welcome –
But can we order pay for a month at a time instead of the $2 every week? Sorry to be difficult but lazy me would rather just make one monthly order – let me know so I can process the payment.
BTW what about the trees? is there a way of measuring the impact of using the internet versus trees? Just asking
