The tour just started up again–and I have to say–I am so thrilled. The tour is like a long lost friend of mine–when it comes back to stay the summer, I always get a little giddy.

The greatest thing so far: the coverage that I am watching is talking about Lance Armstrong–but not talking ONLY about him. I hate it when u.s. announcers totally focus on U.S. interests–as if a sport is only interesting in so far as U.S. has good chances. Because the sport itself couldn’t be interesting. Nobody could possibly just *love* biking.
