It does not seem to be enough to say I support them from the safety of my working class couch. Tonight when I go to bed I will not worry that my children will be shot, or that the expression of civil rights will cause me to imprisoned without charge or warning. I have turned my twitter icon green and yet know that this is nothing more than westernized response to a clear need of support. I stand in solidarity with protesters but I am at a complete loss as to how I may be of service. Increasingly I have no words to aptly convey my feelings as the Iranian protests continue.
