posted in relation to this post–the following are pictures of how existing models of community interdependency were examined, discussed, centered in AMC organizing. Lacking an existing model of organizing created by humans, AMC organizers investigated the entire ecosystem of the worm, and considered how could this ecosystem be recreated in our organizing? What pitfalls could we trap ourselves in, how could this work/not work? etc.

And of course, the very first question on everybody’s mind post-explanation was–ok, beautiful metaphor–now, what the hell do we do with this metaphor?
So many amazing an necessary conversations happened as a result of pausing to look at and center impractical ideas like–yes, worms really can lead the way to revolutionary change.

So much to say – but I am so tired. I read a bfp post from april 2008 and it rang true with my spirit. You ended it by saying you will find me and I will find you. Thank god I found you – I searched brownfemipower…and here I am – you speak truths upon truths. I hope you dont mind but I posted a pieced of yours on my blog writeoutloudboston.wordpress.com – it spoke to my spirit especially after some bullshit I have recently experienced with the WAM conference committee.
Thank you for your warrior spirit and words.
