well, I guess. and besides that, my head hurts. i’ve been working on some offline projects that have me digging my guts off a platter and eating them–which is really really exciting–but I’m starting to feeling like WTF kitteh now.

OMG! This kitty looks JUST LIKE my son’s cat! And I can absolutely see his cat messing with his rubix cube too… so cute!
I have nothing else of much use to say, unfortunately, LOL.
You will be proud of me though: I am reading a completely useless piece of “chick lit” just for the FUN of it. Unfortunately, it’s such bad writing and so non-feminist that it is draining the point, but still, for me to read something that is not deep and intense is a big step, no? Then I’m going to write a review dissecting it’s damage to the psyche of women, LOL. But for real, it IS really funny anyway.
Hmm… I know no gossip but I could start some just for you, I suppose.
Let me think who I’d like to start a ridiculous rumor about and see how far it goes… it’s like playing telephone, you know.

WOOT WOOT PARTY OVER HERE! I feel you on needing a break. It was becoming rather depressing to go to my own blog, so I did a little celebratory dance for the Fair Pay Act today.

@aaminah…u do not know HOW often i’ve picked up romance novels at a friends house and snuck them home just so I could have something mindless to occupy my mind w/. Seriously, that stuff is SO female porn. but I can’t help it–It’s like–i can feel productive when i’m done (i read a whole book!!!) and it only takes me about three hours to do it, AND it gets my mind off of stuff…sigh…what better thing could i do????

Okay is it gossipy, or bullshitty (as in who gives a shit), to say that I inadvertantly came across a blog that linked to a review of my book, where the original blogger also left a review-type comment in the thread where the review was given, and both women hated it, and found me personally disappointing and/or irritating and/or un-”defensible?”
I feel like it’s gossipy because one kind of gossip = people talking shit, and also eavesdropping is gossip-related, and I know it may sound weird what with it having been a BLOG (not a private conversation) and all, but somehow I felt like I was eavesdropping, in reading that post/comments.
Dirty fun things…hm…several come to mind, and I’m not being coy, I just don’t know if what I consider fun-dirty is what many other people might consider jesus-christ-keep-that-shit-to-yourself type of dirty. Tough call!
I’m thinking of starting a rumor at work that I’m going to be fired (for things like commenting at blogs while on the clock, ahem), just so I can feel a spike of relief to find out it’s not true. Sometimes I like to manufacture my own excitement, in other words.

heeding the call to delurk. i’ve been reading for a bit now, and i’m absolutely loving your collaboration with jess. it’s incredibly aptly timed with my own personal struggles and thoughts these days, and you both bring incredible thoughtfulness and insight.
as for gossip… i’m really bad at keeping up on the juicy stuff. I heard britney got a restraining order against her former managers or something.
although now, after reading these comments, I want to go find those pictures of salma…

Bunny rabbits you say? Has been soooo hot here this week, bunny gets all drowsy.
Gossip? OMG my friend just got caught cheating on her girlfriend and then they broke up and then got back together and then fought all week. This is like the fifth time or something they’ve broken up and gotten back together. Dyke dwama a-go-go.
Every day, my girlfriend wants gossip updates on them and finishes off listening by going “aww baby *I luz you. So glad I have you instead” cos she knows that despite popular stereotype this bunnah don’t cheat..
Also, I had a hazelnut chocolate icecream thing yesterday.
